BIOGRAPHY
MUTIARA PUTRI PRATIWI_112014075

This is a short biography of Dedy Raharjo Wicaksono Putro, one of my cousins who always becomes my idol. Dedy Raharjo Wicaksono Putro was born in a town named Salatiga, Jawa Tengah on December 6 1974. His mother, Sri Rahayu gave birth to him with a great love. Rudy Bintarto as his father felt blessed on the birth.
His parents want their child to become a successful person. Therefore, Dedy learns how to be a disciplined, hard-working, polite and smart person. Hopefully those attitudes can encourage him to reach his parents’ dream. He keeps them to make his life better and better.
Dedy and his family moved to Surabaya in 1978 and he completed his childhood there. In 1986, he finished his study in the Christian school of Sidoarjo, Santa Amalia 2 Elementary School, well. There, he learnt to respect the elders by listening his nun’s stories. He also tried how to be an active student at that moment. His friends and teachers knew him as a good student. Dedy has a great father who helped him and his friends to do any assignments, especially mathematics. He graduated from Junior High School 12 Surabaya in 1989.
When he was at Senior High School in 1990, stroke attacked his grandmother. Therefore, for months, he and his brother had to help their parents. Dedy and his brother supported their family and did some housework because of that. At that time, he felt that his family’s financial condition got worse. Therefore, he had an idea to reach his ambition by continuing his study without spending a lot of money.
In 1992, Dedy tried to find scholarship until his uncle gave him a good news. There was a college which provided some kinds of scholarships. It was Pembangunan Nasional Veteran University, Jakarta. Weeks later, his uncle told him about another college. It was a Bond Depatment School named Sekolah Tinggi Sandi Negara (STSN). Everyone knew that people would get a job easier and didn’t cost much if they chose STSN. Dedy was known as a clever student. Happily, he was accepted at that college in 1992.
Dedy had some work experiences. In 1995, he got a job at STSN Office of Education as a manager of the computer laboratory. Then, he became a researcher at STSN Research and Development Department in 1997.
In early of 2002, he worked at the Coordinator Minister for Political and Security Affairs. In October 2002 until May 2003, he also worked at the last field, but it wasn’t at the same place. At that moment, he was chosen to get his duty in Ambon. Then, in 2004 to 2006, he was back to STSN and worked at the Deputy of Security. Because of the last experience, he got the duty for several times to guard the President and Vice-President.
Dedy was transferred to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the middle of 2006. The Minister gave him a duty to Budapest, Hungary. In 2012, he came back to Indonesia. Then he was inagurated as a Chief of Sub-Field Communication Training at the Minister of Foreign Affairs until now.
The distance where Dedy got his duty and the place where his special girl took her study wasn’t so far. It was a reason why their love story went smoothly. Until on July 10 2004, Dedy Raharjo Wicaksono Putro got married with his special girl, Fransisca Octoriza Erstyani. Dedy and Riza were granted one handsome and smart son on March 13 2006. His name is Jeremiah Darian Raditya.
Dedy had the same basic education as his wife’s. Riza had an experience working at a Nike company. Dedy worked in the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The similarity between them was that they have worked in office affairs. It makes Dedy’s career becomes better and better, because his wife knows how to work in office affairs. Therefore, his wife always supports him.

Dedy usually prays and feels blessed in any condition. He has a motto, “Find your God, and everything will be added”. That motto keeps him to enjoy his life and his work happily.
